A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That...

Isn't this just beautiful? This is from Michele over at Calico Daisy as part of the recent 3 x 3 swap in which we both participated. I love the embroidery, and the fact that the heart is removable - and wearable as a pin! I told Michele it has found a permanent place on my craft desk - for inspiration!

This is the 3 x 3 piece I sent to Michele; inspired by the "Tree of Love" concept, I decided to use this theme, and used various heart punches, a little bit of stamping, and some chipboard to create the three. I had a lot of fun with this one!

Supplies: pink Bazzill cardstock
shades of pink Bazzill glitter cardstock (for hearts and background)
mini pearlescent brads (yay - Target dollar spot!)
Offray sheer ribbon

Swap Madness!

This will be a brief post since I am running ragged these days, but I wanted to post a picture of the "loot" Jodi sent as part of the Pink and Brown Swap she and Rebecca sponsored. This was fabulous; when I opened the box, I felt like it was the holidays all over again! You have to take a look at the spoils :)

Jodi, I absolutely love this collage! This will be factored into my craft room re-design, too....

Craft Room Organization

Ok, so, the "I'm back" post obviously did not mean that I would be back immediately, but just at some point in the future....

This will not be a long post, but just a quick post with a few pictures of the craft room reorganization in progress.... I have received a few inquiries regarding my craft room, so the pictures here are just a few pictures of the work in progress.... If you cannot already tell, the color pink has become my best friend recently :) And, to think that I could not stand the color pink as a child....

I love this wrapping paper organizer from Pottery Barn- and again, pink, white, and black predominate.....

Notice the cupcake scarf from Amy's Inspire Company? Yep - pink again.... I love this! And, the topiary tree on the left of the picture is another one of my work-in-progress projects - just another item for my to-do list....
